OfficerTRAK® Privacy Statement

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to information received by OfficerTRAK, LLC (hereinafter, “OfficerTRAK”) from visitors to its website (hereinafter “Website”).

This privacy policy applies to persons anywhere in the world (hereinafter, “Visitors”) who interact with our Website, social media pages, and other online or wireless services (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Websites”) to obtain information about our services (hereinafter “OfficerTRAK Services”), except for the OfficerTRAK mobile application and other web-browsers by which it customers and prospective customers communicate with OfficerTRAK. Please note that this privacy policy does not apply to information we collect from Users who interact with OfficerTRAK to arrange and schedule security services (hereinafter, “Clients”), or third-party security providers who interact with OfficerTRAK under license (hereinafter, the “Security Provider” Privacy Policy) to provide visitors to the Websites with information about security services.

What Personal Information do we collect?

OfficerTRAK collects Personal Information about you when you visit our Websites or otherwise communicate with us. Personal Information may include your name, telephone number, and email address, and usage and preference information (collectively, “Personal Information”).

Usage and Preference Information: OfficerTRAK collects information about how you interact with our Websites. For example, we may aggregate anonymous information about you and other Visitors who visit our Websites. The information may include a browser type and browser plugins, cookie preferences, search engine keywords, JavaScript enablement, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exiting pages, operating system software, screen resolutions, and screen color capabilities. Aggregated information will not contain any information that can be linked directly back to you.

OfficerTRAK collects Personal Information that you provide directly to us when you contact our Websites or request more information about OfficerTRAK services.

OfficerTRAK may use your IP address to help protect OfficerTRAK and our Internet Service Providers (see below) from fraud.

OfficerTRAK will provide you with the choice and means for limiting the use and disclosure of your Personal Information before OfficerTRAK uses or discloses the Personal Information for a purpose other than for which it was originally collected.

Disclosure of your Personal Information to third parties

OfficerTRAK will never sell your Personal Information to any third party.

At times, OfficerTRAK may use the services of independent companies to provide certain services to you, including, without limitation, website hosting services and guest surveys (hereinafter “Internet Service Providers”). OfficerTRAK may share your Personal Information with these Internet Service Providers as appropriate.

Personal Information may be shared between OfficerTRAK and its affiliated businesses, namely Off Duty Services, Inc. and Off Duty Management, Inc. (the “Affiliated Businesses”). For clarity, the Affiliated Businesses may inadvertently receive user queries regarding OfferTRAK services. In such instances, the Affiliated Businesses share the Personal Information associated with the user queries with OfficerTRAK where appropriate in furtherance of OfficerTRAK’s legitimate business purpose. Such sharing between OfficerTRAK and the Affiliated Businesses is never done for marketing/advertising purposes. As such, the Affiliated Businesses do not need to provide individuals with a “Do Not Sell” button to ensure that their personal information is not sold.

OfficerTRAK may disclose your Personal Information as is necessary to (a) comply with a subpoena or court order; (b) cooperate with law enforcement or other government agencies; (c) establish or exercise our legal rights; (d) protect the property or safety of OfficerTRAK employees, contractors, vendors, affiliates, and visitors to the Websites; (e) defend against legal claims; (f) help with internal and external security investigations; (g) as otherwise required by law or permitted by law.

OfficerTRAK may disclose your Personal Information in connection with any transaction that involves the sale or assignment of some or all of OfficerTRAK assets to a successor business.

We do not retain your Personal Information longer than is necessary. For example, we may retain your Personal Information for the time taken to respond to a request for information about OfficerTRAK Services. Children’s Information

Content on the OfficerTRAK Applications is not intended to be directed towards children who are under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18. If OfficerTRAK becomes aware that a child has provided Personal Information without parental consent, that Personal Information will be deleted from our databases.
